The GEA Niro Soavi Research & Product Testing Laboratory in Parma is a
unique resource. It is available to customers to test the application of
homogenisation on products and
to refine those products development using the benefit of in-house
equipment.
The laboratory has a wide range of GEA Niro Soavi high
pressure homogenisers and laser equipment for quality control and particle size
characterization. It has its own highly qualified staff to perform product
testing on customers’ behalf and advise on product formulation to obtain the
most efficient homogenization effect on products. By simulating the conditions
during full-scale production, it is possible to analyse results in the
laboratory before settling on the perfect machine configuration.
The GEA Niro Soavi Laboratory is also used to continuously
monitor and evaluate the performance of installed machines, and to help
developing high efficiency homogenizing valves made of suitable
wear resistance materials for
consistent process results.
